Year 1 had an exciting trip to the Black Country Museum as part of their 'How we used to live' topic.
We found out about housing in Victorian times and visited a pharmacist and a clothes shop.
We also learnt about different forms of transport from horse and carriage to motorcycles and travelled on an old fashioned bus.
The highlight of the trip was our visit to the Victorian School Room. We called the school mistress Ma'am and she was kind to us as we were able to say the alphabet backwards.
