Royal Shakespeare Company Playmakers Workshop
Last week, Year 5 were lucky enough to perform on the world-class Royal Shakespeare Theatre stage as part of the Royal Shakespeare Company's Playmaking Season. The show, The Wood of Words, was a specially commissioned play addressing issues concerning young people at the moment which cleverly incorporated the 'greatest hits' of Shakespeare's First Folio. We had the honour of closing the show and performing an excerpt from Julius Caesar. The children managed their nerves brilliantly and supported each other to put on a faultless performance and we are so proud of their hard work and commitment to the project. You were all absolute stars, Year 5, and we hope this incredible experience will stay with you for a long time to come.
