It was wonderful to be joined by so many family members today to support Learning Together Time. Parents, Grandparents, Aunties and Uncles came to support the children in their classroom learning about chosen Bible Stories. Everyone was very active - crafting, writing and creating in unison. The children love sharing their learning journey with you and from the feedback as you left, we are pleased that you love this opportunity too. There will be another Learning Together Time in Spring and again in Summer.
As you know our focus for these sessions changes every term and this term it was Bible Stories. Here's what all the classes got up to.
Reception have been learning about Noah's Ark and their activities included building Arks and counting animals two by two.
Year 1 read the story of Jonah and the Whale and sequenced the story with their families.
Year 2 leant about Noah's Ark and created a 3D image of the Ark with the rainbow sign of hope.
After retelling the story of The Creation, Year 3 used chalks with their families to make piece of creation inspired art.
Year 4 had selected three parables - The Mustard Seed, The Sower and The Good Samaritan and made cartoon strips to retell these.
Year 5 made chatterboxes retelling the story of The Feeding of the 5000.
Year 6 enjoyed learning about Exodus and completed their afternoon with a Kahoot quiz which got everyone involved.
