Each year the school sets objectives to continue to improve the education we deliver. As a team we work to determine the actions we will take, measures for success and milestones through the year to track our progress. This is documented in our School Learning Improvement Plan, known in school as our LIP.
The school leadership team, including the Governors, monitor our progress against these objectives throughout the school year and report findings to Governing Body meetings.
Our current objectives are:
- Develop the quality of education and teacher pedagogy to ensure all teaching is in line with school vision and values and the teaching of the whole school curriculum is embedded across subjects and year groups, delivering increasingly outstanding teaching, learning and outcomes for our children.
- Develop the quality of education and teacher pedagogy to ensure teaching of Writing is securely and consistently good across the school, delivering increasingly outstanding Writing teaching, learning and outcomes for our children.
- Develop the quality of education and teacher pedagogy to ensure teaching of Maths, following the Maths Mastery Scheme is securely and consistently good across the school, delivering increasingly outstanding Maths teaching, learning and outcomes for our children.
- Promote our distinctive Christian vision, character and ethos to be established, evident and effective, underpinning all that we do to enable pupils and adults to flourish in the widest sense.
