What a joy this week to finally come back together as a whole school in church. Since the pandemic began, where possible classes have continued to visit St James' Church in Alveston but this week was the first time we have made the journey and taken part in a service as a whole school since December 2019. The children walked fabulously well with buddies from different year groups from school up to Alveston. We were met with lots of waves and smiles from locals having not seen this for so long. In church, we had a service giving thanks for Easter and to Jesus for the sacrificing himself for us. The children sang our hymns beautifully and listened carefully as the Easter Story was retold. Our thanks go to Claire and Trevor who came to meet us and welcome us in church. We are so hopeful that next time parents will be able to join us too.
