Year 6 visit the Sikh Gurdwara!

Sikh Gurdwara
 
Year 6 had a fabulous trip to the Sikh Gurdwara in Warwick! They learnt to understand the purpose and the importance of the Gurdwara to Sikhs. They were made to feel so welcome and the visit helped the children to see and understand Sikhism first-hand. They visited the prayer room, where the Holy Book sleeps and heard stories about the Gurus. They also visited the 'langar' (the community kitchen) for a shared snack. The children were impeccably behaved and incredibly respectful.
