Last week Reception braved the elements on their very first school trip! They boarded the bus (this was a highlight for many!) to visit a real working farm. They showed bravery when stroking the animals, listened carefully to the interesting information the farmers gave and were so resilient with the cold weather! Some experienced sitting in the farmers tractor whilst others bottle fed newborn lambs - some only 24 hours old! Chicken eggs were collected and cows fed. They finished off the morning baking bread and making butter from scratch before sampling it - it was delicious. The children had an unforgettable experience and were excellent ambassadors for our school.
We were very proud of them!
