Wow! What a truly incredible day we have had. After working with Emma, from iSingPop, for three days last week, this week we got to showcase our work by performing for our families. We have learnt 7 new songs (4 for Key Stage 1 and Rec) and each one shares important Christian values and messages that can help everyone, regardless of faith. Spread over the day, each concert had 70 children in with every child having the opportunity to perform. For some children, this really was their day to SHINE. We were so proud of how everyone performed rejoicing, singing and dancing their hearts out. We were blown away by the amazing comments from families as they left and we are so glad that so many of you were able to come and we know that we will be singing these songs for many years to come.
A big thank you to the Diocese of Coventry who have funded this project with iSingPop - we are very grateful to have had this opportunity to be part of iSingPop 7.
The songs we sang and the messages were:
Glow - Jesus will always be there, even when we are feeling scared, lost or lonely.
Say What You Mean - Honesty and truth are great strengths.
Together - When we work together, we can be stronger and achieve as a community.
Take Care of the World - Stand up for what's right and look after our world.
This is the Day - Despite being different, we can all love, forgive and work together.
Waterfall - Jesus will always love us and give us strength.
Loved - We are all loved and we can all love, even in hard times.
