Despite the cold, it was truly wonderful to be back in St James' Church to celebrate Christingle as a whole school. After the walk up, which is always magical in itself seeing the whole school snaking through the streets, Reverend Linda led our service which included lots of special Christmas carols including In the Bleak Midwinter and, our school favourite, It was on a Starry Night. A huge thanks to Ed for accompanying our singing with the organ and thanks to two of our governors who came to read Bible passages from Luke to share the Christmas story with the children and their families.
