As part of our science and art work, all pupils participated in designing a logo for the Alscot Estate. Three year children pupil were then chosen to accompany Mrs Rogers to the award ceremony on Thursday 1st July.
It was a beautiful sunny evening and we were so excited to win some prizes too!
Alveston won a special recognition prize to recognise that our pupils had an good understanding of Biodiversity and for our whole school approach as every child in school created a logo for the competition.
Bella L, Oscar Evans each won a beautiful bird box handcrafted on the Estate by the carpenters as they were chosen as joint winners from the entries from Alveston School.
Prizes were also given to these children due to the high standard of their designs…
