Whole school assembly
This week, our whole school assembly focused on the important road works taking place on Knights Lane to make it safer for us to walk to Loxley Road, by installing a pavement and lights. During the assembly, the children engaged in a thoughtful discussion about the safety equipment used on construction sites and the potential dangers, including noise. To bring this to life, the children participated in a fun experiment to see if they could shout the word “digger” at a greater volume than the loudest machinery on Knights Lane. Excitingly, they succeeded, reaching an impressive 104 decibels! It was an informative and interactive session that highlighted the significance of these improvements for our community's safety.
