Our Community

Hi

Please find attached the ‘Summer Specials’ Timetable along QR codes. There is also an advert for a post advertised with Citizens Advice South Warks (closing date is Monday 8th August).

Commonwealth Games

To celebrate the Commonwealth Games coming to the West Midlands our Child Friendly Warwickshire Friend, Think Active, have secured Commonwealth Games Legacy Tickets for several Commonwealth Sports Events taking place between the 29th of July and 3rd of August for children and young people with Coventry, Solihull, and Warwickshire.

‘Legacy Tickets’ are an engagement opportunity that has been made possible by the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games through Bring the Power, the youth engagement programme for the Games. Bring the Power aims to inspire children and young people by creating opportunities that bring them closer to this thrilling festival of sport and culture.

Legacy Tickets have been made available to enable children and young people aged 5-25 across the West Midlands to experience sport live in-venue during Games-time in the hope they feel inspired to take part in sport in the future. These tickets are being distributed to children and young people who typically experience barriers to access opportunities such as the Games and those who would benefit most from receiving these tickets. This aligns with the Birmingham 2022 ambition to bring people together.

We only have a limited number of tickets available; these will be allocated on a first come first served basis so you will need to be quick!

To apply for Legacy tickets and more information, please complete the following Form via this link https://forms.office.com/r/mmdyQkGpRR

You will then be notified via email as soon as possible if you have been successful.
