Dear TCC Film Club Members & Prospective Members!
Confirmation that our next film...on Friday 2nd June (7 for 7:30pm) is...A Man Called Otto
This is a remake of a classic Swedish movie but this plays out to a much larger audience while retaining the same sentiments. Well written and acted, this is great entertainment moving seamlessly from comedy to drama and ultimately packs an emotional punch that makes it memorable and pushes it into one of the best movies of the year. A great reminder of why Tom Hanks has been at the top for so long while providing a break out supporting role for Mariano Trevino who is genuinely both very funny and very moving. Can I also highlight the soundtrack ... especially the Kate Bush single. Highly recommended.
Otto is a grump who's given up on life following the loss of his wife and wants to end it all. When a young family moves in nearby, he meets his match in quick-witted Marisol, leading to a friendship that will turn his world around.

We have a very limited number of chairs with arms – but if you need or would like one, please ask .....first come, first served, etc.
In addition to helping us please kindly confirm which pre-film drinks you require: Sauvignon Blanc, Malbec & Beer all at £3 or Orange juice @ 50p. Pay at the door by Credit/Debit Card.
SORRY but we can only accept Credit or Debit Cards payments – NO CASH.
Non-members are very welcome at £5 for a one-off visit BUT why not become a member?
TCC Film Club Membership £10 for all films from 2nd June until 6th August 2023. That's just £10 for the next 4 Films… EVERY 1st Friday of the month!
