Swimathon 2024
We are immensely proud to share some remarkable news from two our students. Beatrice (Year 3) and Georgia (Year 6) embarked on a tremendous journey to support Cancer Research UK and Marie Curie by participating in a Swimathon. Beatrice demonstrated her incredible endurance by swimming an impressive 1 kilometre, equivalent to 30 lengths, as part of her family's collective effort to swim 5 kilometres. Georgia in turn displayed remarkable determination by swimming 1.5 kilometres solo in just 45 minutes.
Their efforts not only showcased their physical strength and perseverance but also their compassionate hearts as they raised funds for these important charities. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Beatrice and Georgia for their outstanding achievements and commend them for their commitment to making a difference in the fight against cancer.
