17th May 2024
As promised in last week’s newsletter, we are continuing to work hard on our planning for Alveston Owls. A number of families have contacted us as they need to give notice to their current provision. To enable these families to make an informed decision, we have prioritised confirming our wrap around sessions and the prices. This letter provides a brief outline to allow families to make their decision. Additional details on terms and conditions will follow in due course. If you are concerned about a particular aspect, please do speak to us, email us on parents3002@welearn365.com or call us on 01789 293412. We are more than happy to discuss any concern or comment you have.
Session Times
- Breakfast Club:
o 7.45am to 8.45am
o Children can be dropped off at any time from 7.45am
o A choice of cereals, toast with spreads and fresh fruit will be available
o Food will not be served after 8.30am
- After School:
o Session 1: 3.15pm to 4.30pm, or
o Session 2: 3.15pm to 6.00pm
o Children may be picked up at any point within their session
o A light hot or cold tea will be provided to children between 4.30pm and 5pm
Prices
We have considered costs at other local schools and local providers. We have structured our price to include a breakfast or light tea for those staying later. Those children who choose to have something to eat will have a little extra for their money and those who don’t eat are therefore not paying extra for something they do not have.
We have 3 price structures to suit individual requirements, whilst also allowing us to plan staffing and also cover additional costs associated with later bookings.
Pricing Structures
- Contracted: Charge for families who would like to secure their sessions. Sessions must be booked the half term before. E.g. families book the sessions they require for Autumn 1 in Summer 2.
- Flexi: Charge for booking 5 or more school days before the session required.
- Ad Hoc: Charge for booking with less than 5 school days’ notice before the session is required.

Friday 24th May isn't just any ordinary day - it's our Circus Summer Fair AND Non-Uniform Day!
We advise that all children come dressed in active wear and closed shoes as they'll be diving into circus training throughout the day! Also, we'd greatly appreciate your support with our Bottle Tombola—please consider donating a bottle! Bottles will be collected at the gate during morning drop-off.
