Pancakes and Polar Expeditions!
Year 2 have recently learnt about the story Mama Panya’s Pancakes. The children got to taste pancakes before half term. They then wrote instructions on how to make a pancake for adults and children to follow. Year 2 have loved learning all about pancakes! Click
here for the not-so-secret recipe and a picture of the end product (yum!).
This week Year 6 held their annual class assembly based on Shackleton's Journey. The children all worked in groups to create a PowerPoint, which together recounted the story of Shackleton's Trans-Antarctic Expedition. The children read their PowerPoint slides with confidence and several children were able to showcase the wonderful writing that has been produced in class linked to the text. Well done Year 6, great work!
