Wildlife Warriors at St James
On Saturday 6th June, St James' Church welcomed our children to take part in Wildlife Warriors "Reuse, Recycle, Rejoice" on Sunday 6th June 2021.
Regardless of the grotty weather in the morning, the children had some fabulous opportunities in the afternoon to go out and collect bugs, identify them with the ecologists and list the diversity in the church yard. The children also got involved with the craft tables and made bats and pop-up moles, bird pizzas, painted bird houses.
In the pictures you can see Reception's Deseree painting his bat and Year 5's Ellie J handling her bug jar!
It was a wonderful afternoon for our wildlife warriors, thank you to Claire Grimes and the St James' team for organising this fun and educational activity.
