We were overwhelmed and overjoyed at the response to The Royal Mail stamp design competition. Our children have designed some simply stunning stamps representing heroes from the pandemic. We loved seeing parents, Captain Tom, the NHS, teachers, the fire service and postman all being drawn (amongst a wealth of other equally brilliant choices of heroes). It really demonstrated how aware our children are of the many people who have worked tirelessly, both in work places and homes, to keep the country going over the last year. Nearly 200 entries were posted off today with a huge amount of pride and lots of emotion. Well done children, you are such a credit to our school. Photographed is a small sample of the work.
