Year 6 Bake Sale
Last week's Bake Sale was a roaring success and Year 6 have definitely thrown down the gauntlet for the year groups that follow!
If you haven't already heard, Friends of Alveston are calling on all our talented bakers throughout the school to show off their baking skills and whip up some delectable treats. But there's a twist – it's not just about baking; it's also about showcasing the children's selling techniques!
Bake sales will be held across the year, representing each school year (see dates below). And the icing on the cake...? The year that has sold the most cakes will win a fantastic prize!
So, roll up your sleeves, put on your chef's hat, and get ready to impress with your baking and selling prowess. It's a friendly competition that promises loads of fun and deliciousness. Let's make this bake sale series a scrumptious success! Get involved on these dates:
Friday 6th October - Year 1
Friday 13th October - Reception
Friday 10th November - Year 4
Friday 24th November - Year 2
Friday 19th January - Year 5
Friday 26th January - Year 3
And as a little reminder to our taste-testing children, parents, carers and family members - don't forget your cake money!
