News

13th May 2022

This week has been all about the Key Stage 2 SATs. Year 6 have been wonderful role models for us all. Arriving at 8.30am each morning for toast and a relaxed chat, if the children had any nerves at all, they certainly didn’t show it! Everyone has commented on their positive and mature approach to the tests and the week. You all deserve your class ‘Star of the Week’ award! Well done Year 6 for shining so brightly, we are all incredibly proud of you.

The Year 6 teaching team have also done an amazing job this week. Thank you to Miss Eddy and Mrs Watkins for all they have done. Finally, thank you to the Year 6 parents for all your support at home.

Teaching, learning and SATs are a real team effort. I hope everyone in the team – children, parents and teachers - have a relaxing evening and weekend planned.

Next week, I will add a picture here of the joyful Year 6. In the meantime, please enjoy a picture of our very own First Aiders, Year 1’s Mabel and Eva.

Wishing you all a restful weekend,

Anne Clewley
