Happy New Year! I hope you have had a lovely Christmas break.

It was wonderful to welcome everyone back to school this week. We love seeing our children return and feeling the school alive with their buzz!

We start 2022 with the Omicron variant delivering record daily statistics for those with the infection and the NHS under enormous pressure once again. Thank you to everyone for all that you are doing to help keep our community safe.

It is our absolute priority to keep our school open and to deliver face to face learning to as many children as we can. Mrs Newitt sent an email to all parents on Thursday to confirm how remote learning will look this term and it can be found on the COVID 19 page of our website, under Remote Learning.

With our children back in school, we delivered our first Collective Worships of 2022. Mrs Newitt talked to the children about resolutions - our personal intentions for the year ahead. The children thought about their own intentions. The intentions they offered demonstrated a blend of our four of our values Kindness, Community, Creativity and Ambition.  We thought it would be lovely to share a selection, especially as some of these affect you at home!
  • Be kind
  • Drink more
  • Make my parents a drink
  • Help unload dishwasher
  • Smile more
  • Be a good friend
  • Help others
  • Get better at balancing / drawing / building / writing
  • Read every night
Whatever your intentions and resolutions are for 2022, we hope it is a happy and healthy year for you, your family and friends.
