3rd March 2022
On Wednesday afternoon, runners from Years 5 and 6 braved the elements to take part in the Stratford Schools Cross Country race. Our intrepid team were unphased by the weather and put in a fantastic performance against a strong field of runners from local schools. The top placed runners will go on to represent Stratford in the county finals on Saturday 12 March. All our runners did extremely well but special congratulations go to Isabella and Lydia who came 1st and 3rd in an exciting end to the girls' race and Harrison who came 3rd in the boys.
Well done to the whole team: Isabella, Sam, Oscar P, Harrison, Lydia, Megan, Lily, Henry, Oli and Charlie. You represented the school brilliantly and we are very proud of you all!
Thank you too to all the parents who were able to join us to cheer the children on and to Mr Davies who helped to marshal the course. All your support is truly appreciated.
**** STOP PRESS!****
All our children have been selected to represent the Stratford area to compete against all other Warwickshire schools this Saturday! Good luck everyone!
Top 12 finishers in each event will be selected to represent Warwickshire at a national event in Market Harborough on Saturday March 26th 2022. Go team go!
