On Tuesday 22nd March our boys team played away at Bishopton.
Although the team lost 4-1, the score did not reflect how well they played. It was certainly a game of two halves!
The boys weren't sure who scored our goal but it was a move the team have practiced in training - a great cross from Finn with Oscar and Oli R both in the box.
At half time the boys were 4-1 down and the school football coach Simon gave them some top coaching tips. The boys took the coaching on board and in the second half, Zavi had nothing to do in the Alveston goal!
For the second half of the match, the Alveston boys were the stronger side but despite their strength - there were at least 10 goal scoring opportunities - they just couldn't finish each attack off with a goal.
It was a fantastic effort from Oli B, Oli R, Finn, Ted, Charlie and Zavi - well done boys!
Thank you to parents too for all their support on the day.
