News

10th June 2022

We have had a wonderful return to the final term of this academic year. As we celebrated our Stars of the Week, we rejoiced at how many children were chosen this week for their attitude to work and to life itself. These true rays of sunshine lit up the hall as brightly as the sun itself! They are an inspiration to us all.

With sunny days like today, we are all reminded of our favourite days at primary school. These are the days which build the best memories. Watching the children playing in the sun brings such joy to us all.

Very best wishes for a sun filled and peaceful weekend,

Exciting Houses of Parliament Trip for Year 6

Just before half term, Year 6 went to London to visit Parliament.

We had an absolutely fantastic day out. We were so lucky to see both the House of Lords and House of Commons in session. It was very exciting!

In the House of Lords we were able to listen quietly from the balcony to a debate regarding the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. In the House of Commons we watched Rishi Sunak address the MPs concerning the energy crisis. We also had a tour of the Palace of Westminster and even got to participate in a debate ourselves about school uniform. Afterwards, we went on a walking tour of London to soak up the Jubilee atmosphere. We saw Downing Street, Horse Guard’s Parade, Trafalgar Square, Westminster Bridge and… the aptly named Jubilee Gardens!

It was a fabulous trip, enjoyed by adults and children alike!

Ordering School Uniform for September

In the last year we have set up two uniform suppliers SummitGB (shop in Stratford) and Brigade (online business based in Coventry) alongside our existing offering.  For more information, please visit our website by clicking here. We have been contacted by Brigade to let us know their last order date is 22nd July for guaranteed delivery before September.  We advise that parents actively source uniform as soon as possible to ensure they have it in time for September start.  Last year nationwide uniform suppliers were hit by unexpected Brexit and coronavirus delays.
