Today our Eco Committee led Collective Worship for everyone in the school to remind them of ways that they could be more aware of our local area and our footprint on the world. Their messages were:
- Be aware of litter. Don't drop it and if you see litter, pick it up and put it in the bin. By doing our bit we can keep our school and our local area tidy so that everyone can enjoy it.
- Reduce paper waste in school. Use less paper, don't waste it unnecessarily and use whiteboards where possible.
The Eco Committee then presented Mrs Clewley with a letter for teachers requesting that they use less paper and photocopy less. The teaching team are now going to review their usage.
